This project is a UI/UX design for a website dedicated to the life and works of Anni Albers, designed for both desktop and mobile platforms. The site showcases her paintings, weavings, and creative processes, providing a comprehensive look at her artistic journey. A detailed timeline highlights key moments in Albers’ life, including her time at the Bauhaus and her later years in the United States with her husband, situating her work within its historical and cultural context.
The design style is clean and modern, creating a visual contrast that allows her intricate works to stand out while maintaining a cohesive feel across the site. Everything was intentionally designed to feel unified, so users can explore Albers’ art, history, and legacy in one seamless experience. In addition, the website features a shop section where visitors can purchase books inspired by her works, bridging the gap between digital experience and tangible engagement with her art.
